RUSH: While the old guard of the Republican Party was out playing footsie with the president, the new kids in town were talking to the American people about liberty. 

RUSH: Get Roger Ailes: Off Camera, and you find out who this Roger Ailes the guy is just like you find out who El Rushbo the guy is by reading Zev Chafets' Army of One.

RUSH: This is, in a way, what I was talking about when I was telling callers this week, it's going to take an event, that we're beyond words now.  Fifty years of words to people. It's gonna take an event where there are illustrations of what we've been talking about, and last night was such an event.  Again now, I don't know how long its effects will be, how long its legs are, but it can't be denied that it happened. 

RUSH: We welcome to the program this afternoon Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky...

RUSH: This is where the Republican establishment had better pay attention... You cannot have this many millions of Americans continually ignored and unrepresented in a representative democracy without a price to pay for it. 

PAUL: I'm quite happy with the answer, and I'm disappointed it took a month and a half and a root canal to get it.

CALLER: I'm a lifelong Democrat, and I'm very proud to say that in the future I'm gonna be voting for Rand Paul.

RUSH: We're shutting down White House tours while Obama takes a 20-vehicle caravan one half a mile? By the way, that's how far the trip was from the White House to dinner with the Republican ruling class guys last night: Half a mile!

RUSH: I called you years ago and described myself as moderate.  Between you and Obama, I now describe myself as severely conservative.
