Apparently, Obama’s EPA has been secretly involved in a “sue-and-settle” scam with environmentalist groups.

RUSH: This Samuel Betances guy, you should know, is from Chicago, and his sensitivity program was started under Mayor Daley, and a lot of this nonsense is from a guy by the name of Howard Zinn... Howard Zinn's textbooks are being used all over the country.  

RUSH: Two health tips... If you're not 44 yet and you're smoking, have at it...  Have only 500 calories a day for two days a week (but not days in a row), and the other five days go to town and enjoy yourself.

RUSH: You're gonna watch 89-1/2 minutes of this and then the last 30 seconds are just gonna beat you upside the head totally.

RUSH: If we've gotten to the point, in my mind, where we have to take time and tell adults in this country, "No, the Republicans don't want your son to starve" -- if we actually have to take time and say that, and then whether or not they believe it is an open question -- then what's there to be proud of?  If hundreds of thousands, or millions, whatever, adults actually believe that there are people who want their kids to starve in this country, then not only is that shameful, it's just downright embarrassing. 

RUSH:  What happened yesterday to make these people all of a sudden say, "You know what?  It isn't gonna be that bad." I wonder what coulda happened yesterday that made these media people actually start telling the truth about this?  Anybody have any ideas?

RUSH: This is the line from Jay Carney. "When it's a choice between laying teachers off or affecting our national security or, in the broader scheme, reforming our tax code in a way that eliminates these special interest tax breaks or subsidies ... the question here is: What choices do we make?"

RUSH: Every day it's a new crisis here -- new this, new that -- and voters can't keep up. So what they do is tune out and find out what the Kardashians are doing.

RUSH: That would have been a relatively painless way to go about this. It was sensible, but, boy, it just didn't fit the political template of the Democrat Party. You just don't do that. "What? Freeze the budget? No new spending? Why, that's absurd! Government can't function without new spending."
