Remember the so-called fiscal cliff deal from January 1? Well, another shoe is supposed to drop in March: "The sequester."

RUSH: She's talking about global warming and an asteroid, and whether or not it's affected by global warming. She's basically as distant and as far from the reality of science and global warming as anybody can be. Yet, in her mind, she's right in there. She's reporting on it, which to her is the same thing as being involved in it... I don't mean to pick on Deb Feyerick. She's just one of any number of people I could use as an example here.

RUSH: With the reports that the pope is resigning, there were millions of confused Democrats.

RUSH: This guy's a divider and a destroyer, and that's what Ignatius is saying, and Ignatius is saying he doesn't like it.  He's not comfortable with this.  He's not comfortable with Obama having to destroy everybody who disagrees with him. 

RUSH: You can't have a bigger disconnect than this. Candy Crowley first, "Well, kind of offensive, certainly he's entitled to his opinion. I mean, he is an American and all, but was this the right place, prayer breakfast, president sitting there, was this the right place?"  You mean, there happen to be places where telling the truth about things just isn't permitted, not appropriate?

RUSH: Okay, so Pelosi's, again, wandering aimlessly here in vain search of a thought.  "So if you recognize that, which cuts really help us and which cuts hurt us, and cuts in education, scientific research and the rest are harmful, and they are what are affected by the sequestration.  So it is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem.  We have a budget deficit problem."  She's saying we've had plenty of spending cuts, so we don't have a spending problem.  We've got a budget deficit problem.  And this woman was Speaker of the House for I don't know how many years.  This woman is the leader of the Democrats in the House even now.

RUSH:  You know, the question that the guy asks his liberal friends, "What are your limits?"  Well, look at Obama's upcoming State of the Union address.  Who would have ever thought that the things he's gonna talk about would be the goals of the Democrat Party and the country even 30 years ago?

RUSH: After every mass killing in this country, the media turns over every rock trying to find any evidence whatsoever that the killer was inspired by conservatives.  Here you have a man who has admitted who his mentors are.  Here you have a man who is admitting who he's trying to please with his actions.  Christopher Dorner is admitting that he idolizes left-wingers in politics and in the media.  And it's not news.  It's no big deal.  And, in fact, what's even worse: The guy's becoming a cult hero among leftists.

RUSH: My father would be devastated by what has happened to the conservative movement. I think the thing that would perplex him the most is why so many brave and fearless conservatives in years gone by have become afraid to be conservative. That's what he wouldn't understand.

CALLER: Now I'm a single mom and unfortunate I had no other choice but to be on welfare because, if I do get a job, they're gonna take everything away from me. I've tried it.

DURBIN: Sequestration, uh, was designed as a budget threat, not as a budget strategy.
