Here is your at home tip for today. I know you don’t do windows well some of us have to and if that’s you pay attention. Step one is to remove any screening that may be covering the glass area of the window. If you have aluminum screening material it may have oxidized on the glass. So if you can see the screen pattern on the window glass dampen a cloth with water and use Bar Keepers friend. There are all kinds of great window cleaners on the market but it you want to mix up your own here goes. 10 quarts of water in a bucket with about 6 oz of rubbing alcohol and a couple of good squirts of Dawn liquid soap. Using a window brush or sponge apply this mixture to the window and scrub to remove any crust type material. Using a good squeegee work top to bottom to clear the cleaning material.
