The guy asked a question...answer the question. Either say, "I won't dignify that with an answer", "I'm sorry that's the case and we need to look into it", "That's nonsense", or something else like that. DO NOT go on a rant!

"A press interview for Django Unchained turned into a heated discussion between Quentin Tarantino and British journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy. The conversation took a dramatic turn when Guru-Murthy asked the director to comment on the link between enjoying movie violence and enjoying real violence.
Quentin responded to the reporter saying, "Don't ask me a question like that...I'm not biting...I refuse your question." Tarantino's rant continued with the Hollywood heavyweight saying that the interview was supposed to be a commercial for his movie and that if Krishnan wanted to know the director's opinion on violence he could Google it. After several minutes of arguing, Guru-Murthy was able to change topics and finish the interview as if nothing happened."
