Due to the rising count of COVID-19 cases in South Carolina, the Beaufort County Library has temporarily closed.
"To help mitigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), all Beaufort County Library locations are temporarily closing starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16 through at least Tuesday, March 31 or until further notice.Like neighboring systems across the state, this decision was made out of utmost concern for the health, safety, and well-being of library customers, staff, and the community."
Keep borrowed materials, all book drops will be closed, overdue fines will not accrue during the time of closure, all holds will be suspended until re-open, all scheduled library events and meeting room booking are canceled until further notice.
Customers are encouraged to use the library's downloadable services & online resources.
